Weekly Forecast: Summer-like heat and next major storm

Man, it sure has been HOT! I think we can all agree that HOT should be capitalized. Record-breaking heat has been affecting the area with Atlanta breaking their record High today, reaching an incredible 97 degrees! With near triple-digit heat in September, you can only imagine how hot the ocean is... Temperatures of up to 90 degrees have been recorded in the Gulf of Mexico, and that means tropical trouble is brewing! We have a major tropical system incoming that could bring high winds and rain to the area.
Extreme Heat...
As we have seen in the past couple of days, record-breaking heat is expected to continue for the next few days.

This is our expected temperature in Georgia on Monday. As seen by this image, the major heatwave we have been experiencing will continue through the week. Expect temperatures through Wednesday to run in the 90s around here. Temperatures of this range pose a risk of heat illnesses. If you are outside doing physical activities, make sure to stay extra hydrated in this July-like heat. The reason this wont persist through the entire week is due to a tropical system which is progged to affect the area.
Tropics...
We have plenty to go over here from a tropics standpoint as a potentially major hurricane is progged to strike the Gulf.

As seen by this graphic by Accuweather, the eye of this storm is progged to be quick moving, and potentially strong. A storm as they have planned would bring tropical storm force winds with wind gusts of up to 60mph. Harsh conditions like this would also lead to widespread power outages across the area. As seen, it is still very far out, and very uncertain where this storm will hit. The cone stretches from Tampa Bay to New Orleans. This makes me skeptical of any extreme tropical impacts yet, although there is decent confidence in at least moderate impacts.
My forecast for our area is this at this time:
Numerous power outages
Winds of up to tropical storm force (40mph)
Damaging gusts of up to 55mph.
Extreme rain of 4 - 8"
Multiple Tornadoes
Remember, there are no warnings or statements out at this time, as it is still very uncertain, and expect my forecast to change with those changes. Something to note, Accuweather warns of a tornado threat being possible. They state,
"The tornado risk will shift north on Friday to eastern Alabama, much of Georgia, southwestern South Carolina, and parts of far southeast Tennessee."
This threat will most likely be a major factor in our storm. With moderate wind shear combined with rotation from the storm, tornadoes are possible, if not likely. Again, expect this forecast to change as time goes on.
Forecast...

Here is our forecast for this upcoming week!
Expect hot conditions early, with tropical trouble in the middle and late week. This will likely bring a big cooldown and heavy rainfall. Expect strong gusty winds late in the week. With a muggy weekend. Expect this forecast to change as future tropical cyclone Helene changes track and intensity!
